Year 8 went on a fantastic end of year school trip to Burgos in order to discover the archaeological site of Atapuerca. The caves harbour fossils and archaeological remains from a million and a half years ago, which provides invaluable information about the life and appearance of our ancestors.

Our students visited the following tourist attractions: Burgos cathedral, the archaeological sites, the Experimental Archaeology Centre Of Atapuerca (CAREX), the Roman villa of La Olmeda, Saldaña or its stunning Main Square.

We hope you had a great time, Year 8!
