Last Thursday students from Year 3 visited the “Museo do Mar de Galicia” in Vigo. For an hour and a half the children had the opportunity to visit the exposition and participate in different activities. They learnt the different ways used by humans to conquer the underwater world during history, diving techniques, already used by Romans, and how they evolved over time. Children participated in a real adventure where they were transformed into real sailors: wearing a sailor hat and holding a harpoon in their hands they imitated Captain Ahab in his chase against Moby Dick!
To finish off with the visit our students had the opportunity to see the skeleton of a sperm whale and enjoy an antique toys exhibition.
