More than 5.000 people join the Vigo against Cancer
On Sunday, the seventh year of the Vigo against Cancer race broke a new record with the participation of more than 5,000 people, a day in which charity and hope were the real frontrunners.
Donations raised by the event, which once again had the support of O Castro British School, will go to the Oktopus research project, a multidisciplinary team located in three institutions: the research group in Translational Oncology of the Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital led by Drs. Martín Lázaro and Gerardo Huidobro (together with members of Pathological Anatomy), the team of Dr. David Posada in the CINBIO (UVigo) and the team of Dr. Mónica Martínez-Fernández in the CIMUS (USC).
Thank you all for joining us in this fight against cancer!
