Last Friday, 29th of May, the Year 6 students paid a visit to the “Camilo José Cela Foundation” in Iria Flavia (Padrón), where they had the opportunity to get to know objects related to the writer’s life and work, collections of paintings, drawings, newspaper library, collection of epistles, etc.

They also had the opportunity to visit the “John Trulock” Railway Museum, grandfather of the Nobel Prize winner Camilo José Cela, manager of the West Galicia Company which set up the first railway line in this community between Santiago de Compostela and Carril (Pontevedra).

After the visit, teachers and students enjoyed a relaxing lunch in the Barbosa River Natural Park (Muiñada da Barosa).
