Over 2.000 people meet at O Castro British School’s Science Fair
O Castro British School’s Science Fair registered one more year a record of assistance, with more than 2000 people who went to the school premises in Mos to enjoy a funny and interesting day full of games, workshops and many surprises meant for the whole family.
The Trapped! Scientific version of the Scape Rooms at O Castro British School was one of the most appealing games in this fair’s fifth edition; a complex and entertaining game of scientific escapism where the players had to use their brain cells to be able to get through the different tests ahead of them in order to make it out of the classroom!
Big Science, a big format Trivial, tested the knowledge of every member of the family with different questions that made even the eldest ones to look into the books again.
The palaeontology workshops were also the stars of this fair’s current edition and included two activities in which both, parents and children had de opportunity to learn more about this fascinating science and take home their own fossil as a souvenir.
The equine exhibition and the equestrian baptism also registered long queues throughout the morning, but finally they all could learn more about the origin and morphology of these animals as well as enjoying a wonderful pony ride.
Activities for the “youngest” ones
The youngest ones in the house had a really important place in O Castro British School Science Fair, with up to eight activities specially designed for them: equestrian baptism, scientific storytellers, Bright Minds from LEGO Duplo or the educational and very funny workshops “My city lights” and “Sweet Bugs”, conductive dough and an eatable micro world in a plastic glass.
Thank you all for your assistance! We do hope that you have enjoyed it as much as we have!
