Our Year 6 students will enjoy the School Integration Week in Ireland
Our students in the last year of Primary went to Ireland to enjoy the traditional “School Integration Week”, in Gorey. With the objective of interacting with their Irish peers and experience first-hand the Irish education and culture, during their stay in Gorey, our students went to class every day.
One afternoon per week, the hosting school, Bunscoill Loreto, very well known by its excellence in music, organized some very amusing classes of Irish music and dance, which our boys and girls enjoyed very much, apart from learning about different parts of this culture.
Furthermore, they went on many day trips in which they could visit emblematic places, such as the capital of the country, Dublin, the Avoca Windmill, the most ancient one in Ireland, the Irish National Heritage park Wexford, Fern Castle and go for an amazing walk through Courtown forest.
Happy summer, Year 6!
