O Castr British School celebrates the World Book Day
April 23rd is the International Book Day and, to celebrate it, at O Castro British School we have arranged many really funny activities for the students in Early Years and Primary.
Students and teachers came to school dressed as their favourite character and the best costume was awarded with a book. Furthermore, the teachers shared their favourite books with their students.
They also enjoyed a very funny Where’s Wally search, in which the students had to find the 11 Wallys hidden in the school premises and use them to solve the title of the mysterious book.
Our Early Years and Primary students enjoyed as well many other very interesting activities, such as the riddle game Who’s Reading, in which the children have to guess what member of the staff in reading behind the book, a search for a book and a Pets Caught Reading competition.
It was an unforgettable and very funny day!
