Last Week, the educational community of O Castro British School ended a new edition of Differences Week, an activity in which students and teachers of each educational stage of the school emphasise the importance of the differences between them, as an integrating element of the community. Throughout the week, our students carried out a number of activities in which they dealt with this issue, highlighting the similarities and things in common between them, rather than highlighting the differences, as they later discussed in the thematic assemblies to close Differences Week.
In the assemblies, our students verified that limitations and physical barriers can be overcome if you try hard and do not give up. They also learnt that similarities are very positive, since they bring us closer to each other, but differences are even better because they enrich our lives and make us grow as people. Great job!
