Last Saturday, O Castro British School premises were transformed into a great science park in order to close the 4th edition of the Science Fair. The event was visited by more than 3,500 people and gave a grand finale to 2017 Science week.
During open day, attendees were able to enjoy several activities, such as marine science workshops, lab experiments, a birds of prey show or a drones exhibition. There were also very interesting lectures on science. Carlos Spuch’s lecture on how our brain works was remarkable.
Activities for everybody The youngest of the family had their space in this event, too. They had the opportunity to take part in an activity with inductive play-dough: “The lights of my city”. The premiere of the immersive film “The Five Kingdoms” at the Full Dome planetarium, the exhibition of bees, the botanical workshop, the LEGO creativity contest or the 3D photography workshop “Creating worlds with 3D goggles” were the activities that completed the programme of another exciting edition of our Science Fair.
We would like to thank everybody for attending and we look forward to seeing you next year!
