Our pupils are given the opportunity to be a part of this prestigious school for one or two terms, or a whole academic year. Founded 120 years ago, Stonar School is a member of the NACE Schools group. With grounds extending across 32 hectares, pupils flourish in beautiful surroundings, located only 90 minutes from the British capital and a stone’s throw from the city of Bath. Students follow the British Curriculum, in small classes, and maintain close contact with their local tutor. Stonar provides a wide range of extracurricular and recreational activities.

With its outstanding curriculum and extraordinary facilities, Stonar School provides our pupils with unparalleled linguistic immersion during their stay, living alongside other young people from all over the world, with whom they will share unforgettable experiences and forge lifelong friendships.

Pupils’ living accommodation consists of several boarding houses located away from the hustle and bustle of the main school, which are perfectly suited to optimise academic progress, and with everything pupils need readily to hand. The boarding houses are comfortable, homely and fully equipped with Wi-Fi, television, DVD players and games consoles, to which pupils have access in their free time.

The school’s campus is truly exceptional, and boasts an outstanding range of sporting facilities, which are available for pupils across all age-ranges to use during their recreational time, giving them the perfect opportunity to unwind and socialise with their friends. Students not only progress in the different sports on offer, such as swimming, horse-riding, tennis and football, but also develop invaluable skills such as teamwork, camaraderie and cooperation, as they help, encourage and support each other.
