An OCBS student has received the distinction as the best student of the 79 British Schools affiliated to NABSS in the country
The first British school in Galicia and the only one to teach all the educational stages in the British system, from 3 to 18 years old, is one more week of congratulations. After the magnificent results obtained by the first promotion of Graduates of O Castro British School, with an average mark of 11.5 out of 14, a student of O Castro British School has obtained the highest mark in Spain in the IGCSE exams of “English as a first language” (Cambridge IGCSE First Language English).
The IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is the UK’s international certificate exam for secondary education, probably one of the most prestigious academic certification systems in the world, supervised and awarded by Cambridge Assessment International Education.
There are 79 British schools affiliated to the NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain), with a total of 45,000 pupils at all educational stages. Therefore, our student, Álvaro Morgade Carneiro, has been distinguished as the best student of the 79 British schools affiliated to NABSS in the whole country.
The educational community of O Castro British School wish to congratulate its pupil, Álvaro Morgade Carneiro, who is currently in Year 12, for having obtained the highest mark in Spain in the “Cambridge IGCSE First Language English” exams.
In addition, this student has been distinguished with the “Cambridge Learner Award”, a recognition given by the Cambridge Assessment International Education entity to the exceptional performance, talent and hard work of the students who follow this educational system all over the world, and who have demonstrated outstanding performance in the Cambridge exams.
