All Reception and Nursery classes went to Barosa to see how watermills work and we had the chance to learn more about it. We arrived early in the morning, they took us on a ethnological visit and we observed the different types of seeds and grain from which flour can be made. Then we saw how a watermill works and learnt about its different parts. Later we had some time to have a hot chocolate and muffins. They were delicious!
After that, we entered the bread workshop, where our expert baker showed us all the necessary tips to bake the perfect bun or loaf. By that time, we were so hungry, that we had our lunch and then we even had some time to rest and observe the beautiful environment surrounding us.
It was a glorious day!
