O Castro British School Year 9 and Year 10 students went on a trip to Asturias last week. They had the opportunity to discover Pre-Romanesque art and architecture when visiting San Miguel de Lilo and Santa María de Naranco. They also visited the historic district, the cathedral and other monuments in Oviedo.
Moreover, our students were able to participate in a day of coexistence with students and teacher from “The English School of Asturias”.
All in all, it was a very fulfilling trip in which our students were able to share experiences and enjoy some of the architectural jewels in Spain. They also had time to visit other interesting tourist sites in Asturias such as Cudillero, Luarca, Gijón or The Mining Museum.
