NACE international events
At O Castro British School, we prepare our students to look towards a future within the international community. English is the main teaching language at our school, and Spanish, French and Galician form an important and integral part of our curriculum.
We believe that complete linguistic immersion from the earliest possible age is the easiest and most natural way to become fluent in any language. We focus on developing our students’ language and communication skills from the Early Years stage onwards, and our students are introduced to the English phonetics system as they learn to read.
Every NACE student is able to participate in a wide range of exchange programmes, trips and cultural visits to England, Ireland, France and the United States. We are fortunate in having very close ties to one of our NACE sister schools, the highly-respected Stonar School in the UK; our students can spend a memorable summer at Stonar’s amazing residential Summer School or choose to study at Stonar for one or two terms, or for an entire academic year.
NACE Schools organise numerous international events which provide the perfect opportunity for our students to interact with other young people from around the world. These events include:
These international events help to perfect our students’ linguistic skills and provide them with unique opportunities to share experiences and establish friendships with young people from around the world.
