Certificate of Quality S+

The National Child Safety Association has granted the prestigious Quality Certificate S+ to O Castro British School. The Certificate S+ for Child Safety is the maximum international distinction for infant schools, schools and all facilities and services looking after children. It is a great honour for us to be acknowledged for the safety of our students.

Extracurricular Activities

At O Castro British School extracurricular activities are an essential accompaniment to our main curriculum, allowing our students to explore a range of new and exciting activities over and above their academic studies. We offer more than 40 different extracurricular activities to children aged from 4 to 16. Take the plunge and try something new!

Family Events

We believe that active involvement of the whole family is key to a child’s education and all-round development. O Castro British School organises a number of events and activites in which the whole family can participate, and which reflect our educational philosophy, our mission and our vision as a school.

NACE Events

As part of the NACE group our students are invited to participate in a wide range of international sporting, artistic, musical and academic events, which bring together young people from more than 50 countries worldwide and which promote our shared values of respect, tolerance and friendship.

Summer Camps

During the summer, O Castro Summer School provides an opportunity for total immersion in the English language delivered via an exciting programme of sporting, academic and cultural activities. Our Summer Camp is specifically designed to encourage children to practise and improve their English in a stimulating, active and enjoyable learning environment.
